Welcome Bent Shapes

Stoked to announce the signing of Boston trio Bent Shapes to Father/Daughter! Their debut album, Feels Weird will be released on August 20, 2013. Stereogum premiered the lead single “Behead Yrself, Pt. 2,” calling Feels Weird “an essential no-filler record with some of the best indie pop songwriting you’ll hear all year.” For all you vinyl collectors out there, Feels Weird will see a limited bone & electric blue color pressing, limited to 300 total. Pre-order now!

First and foremost, we are incredibly excited to welcome Brooklyn’s Leapling and San Francisco’s Cocktails into the Father/Daughter fold. Leapling’s EP will be out at the end of the year, and Cocktails will kick off 2013. Get to know them, friend them on Facebook and most importantly, BE NICE.

Pure Bathing Culture just announced shows with Twin Sister and Poor Moon on the West Coast and Levek is on tour now. They’re playing select shows in Florida with Of Montreal (!!!) in November.

Levek + Hundred Waters tour

Levek & Hundred Waters are touring together this March, including some amazing shows at the Orange You Glad Festival in Orlando, FL and NY dates with Conveyor, Emily Reo and Philip Seymour Hoffman. Levek will be playing with a new line up (ex-Levek band members make up Hundred Waters, who are mind blowing btw) and you might even hear songs off his forthcoming, TBA full-length album if you’re lucky.
